I absolutely love Formula 1. I fell in love with it as an eight year old in the nineties. My earliest memory is watching Damon Hill win the chaotic 1998 Belgium Grand Prix. From there the sport hooked me and has never let go.

Working in the F1 paddock is a dream. I’m a regular at races and specialise in explaining the sport simply and appealing to younger audiences. In 2022 I was approached by both F1’s podcast editor and Greg James about starting two separate, very different Formula 1 podcasts. I’ve worked on both ever since alongside other freelance work in the sport.

Prior to working in F1 full time I spent ten years as a news and sport presenter, reporter & journalist. For five of them I was heard by millions presenting news and sport for Newsbeat, on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network. I frequently presented the main Newsbeat programmes and its bulletins across Radio 1 Breakfast and drive time. This was also where I started my career in F1, interviewing drivers for Radio 1, making regular appearances on 5Live F1, writing F1 features for the BBC website and even hosting across Newsbeat, 5Live and the BBC World Service in Bahrain.

Whilst at the BBC I also had work featured on BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 5Live, the Today programme, the BBC News Channel, Sportsday and Final Score. I went on to work with giants of UK media like LBC, Capital, talkSPORT and Virgin Radio.

I love talking to people and am equally comfortable in a studio in front of an autocue, reporting live with no such luxuries, or quickly editing content on a laptop, crouched on the pavement in the rain (it’s happened, many times).

As a proud gay sports presenter, I’m an ambassador for the global motorsport LGBT rights charity Racing Pride. I’m also an ambassador for Sir Jackie Stewart’s charity Race Against Dementia. My Mum was diagnosed with the disease in 2023 and I do everything I can to support their efforts to find a cure.

Football is my second love. I support Leicester City and I’m proud to be the patron of its LGBT Supporters Group Foxes Pride. Thanks for visiting this site (and bothering to read this). Please do get in touch if you’d like to work with me. I’m always open to new projects.
